South Bucks Tree Surgeons Ltd is a family run, medium sized tree surgery firm. We have been trading for almost 40 years and employ 14 staff. Following continued growth of our business, an exciting opportunity for a skilled Grounds Worker has arisen to join our professional, friendly and busy team.
We envisage that the ideal applicant will:
- Have a strong background working previously as a Grounds Worker for a tree surgery firm.
- Have a good basic knowledge of common native trees and shrubs.
- Understand different tree surgery techniques and services.
- Will hold a minimum of a NPTC CS30/CS31
- Ideally be certificated and have a good track record of using machinery like; root grinders & chippers.
- Ideally experienced in driving tractors/conducting grab operation/vehicles with trailers.
- Have experience & good understanding of rigging operations at ground level.
- Have an appreciation for mechanical maintenance to assist in basic repairs & up keep of equipment.
The successful candidate will need to have a first class respect for health and safety allied with a true ‘team work’ approach. Knowledge of the local area is desirable but not essential. However, you must be professional and have excellent time keeping.
